The Ventura County Office of Education utilizes Frontline Absence Management, an automated system for reporting absences and obtaining substitutes. It allows teachers, paraeducators, and staff to report an absence in two different ways.
Option #1
You can interact with Absence Management on the internet at http://www.frontlineeducation.com. Here, you will be able to enter absences, check your absence schedule, update personal information, and exercise other features such as uploading your lesson plans for substitutes to view online.

Would you like to install the Frontline app on a device? This is another great way to access the system anytime/anywhere. VCOE is not responsible for any charges to your Wi-Fi services based on usage. Data rates may apply.
Option #3
You can also call Absence Management toll free at 1-800-942-3767. Simply follow the voice menu to enter and manage absences and access other features. We recommend that you call in to check the computer recording of your name and title. To do this, press Option 5 and follow the prompts.
