New Teachers to Celebrate Completion of Credentialing Process
Media Coverage Invited May 30 in Camarillo
Media coverage is invited as the Ventura County Office of Education hosts its annual Teacher Induction Culmination on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Two hundred beginning teachers will be celebrating the completion of state-mandated, on-the-job training and mentoring known as induction, which is the final step to becoming a fully credentialed teacher.
WHAT: Ventura County Teacher Induction Culmination
WHEN: Thursday, May 30, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Reception begins at 4:00 p.m. Program begins at 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: VCOE Conference and Educational Services Center - 5100 Adolfo Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012
The event theme this year is “Support and Appreciation,” which was inspired by the insight of local teachers featured on a recent Today Show piece about the national teacher shortage.

The Teacher Induction Culmination is being held under the auspices of Ventura County Office of Education, department of Educator Support and Effectiveness, Kim Uebelhardt, Executive Director.
