The Communications Department is the liaison between VCOE and the community at large. The department is responsible for informing schools, districts and the general public about VCOE's numerous programs, services and educational opportunities. It issues news releases, serves as a resource for members of the media seeking information about public education in Ventura County and assists local schools and districts with their communications efforts.

Several times each year, the department publishes VCOE's Focus on Education publication to highlight trends, achievements and topics of interest related to education. You're invited to sign up to receive Focus on Education by email.
